I can't say this enough: get yourself an e-reader app on your phone. Download a book. The second you get the urge to doomscroll, instead go to your book and read.
It'll improve your mood. I know it sounds silly to read a book on a phone, but the positive is you most likely always have it on you. And the phone is usually the Number 1 culprit for when you want to doomscroll.

单这个话题，我不会做莎士比亚《冬天的故事》，太多人研究了，拣边角料有点没意思，但《冬天的故事》确实还蛮典型的（（
想了想又接着以前和朋友谈过的话题说，early modern English drama美就美在大家普遍有一种fiction/magic/miracles是problematic的认知，整个社会正在上演一个大型disillusion，历史上每一代的fairy tale都在讲“在很古很古的时候，世界有魔法，那时……”，似乎神怪故事总是发生在好几代以前而现在的世界就没有那么激动人心，然而fairy tale这个词组是17世纪coin出来的，英国的early modern是一个大家对人类社会里与时间一样古老的fiction and fabrication 特别aware的年代，把这个东西放到戏剧里很自然地会用魔法去表达theatricality and vice versa，但同时还产生更多更幽微的表达
